The Skateroom x Van Gogh Museum collaboration reimagines Van Gogh's masterpieces in an innovative and eye-catching manner to reach and inspire a new audience outside the museum walls.
The collection consists of a series of unique Van Gogh art editions on skateboards with three triptych editions (Almond Blossom, Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat, and Sunflowers) and two single editions (Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat, and Head of a Skeleton with a Burning Cigarette). These editions of artwork are intended for decorative purposes. We provide you with one wall mount per deck to hang them on your wall, just like a painting.
Part of the sales of The Skateroom x Van Gogh Museum collection contributes to a project of Skateistan, an award-winning non-profit organisation. Skateistan connects skateboarding and education through their innovative 'Skate and Create' programme. The contribution of The Skateroom x Van Gogh Museum collection will be invested in a new pilot programme for children in South Africa. Their goal is to teach children with and without disabilities to gain more self-confidence in life through skateboarding.
